Kayamkulam Kochunni trailer out: Nivin Pauly looks intense as a thief
Ever since Nivin Pauly’s upcoming flick Kayamkulam Kochunni was announced, it has created quite a positive buzz. The film is tipped to be a period drama made on a lavish budget.
Directed by Rosshan Andrews, the story of Kayamkulam Kochunni is set in the 1800s.
The trailer of the much-anticipated Kayamkulam Kochunni was unveiled early on July 10 and features some mind-boggling visuals. The trailer opened to an overwhelming response and it only makes us want to see more of the old era.
Nivin Pauly, who is said to be playing the role of a thief, looks intense. He is seen performing difficult stunt sequences which are backed by Gopi Sundar’s commendable music. We get a glimpse of Mohanlal towards the end of the trailer.
Nivin is said to have learnt the art of kalaripayattu (a type of martial art) to fit the bill. Mohanlal will be seen as Ithikkarapakki, another thief in his village.
Kayamkulam Kochunni is said to be one of the biggest Malayalam films ever made.
Produced by Gokulam Gopalan, the film also stars Priya Anand, Priyanka Thimmesh, Sunny Wayne, Babu Antony and Manikandan R Achari in supporting roles.
